Meet Your Instructor

reccia jobe

For over 10 years, Reccia Jobe has helped people explore and develop the kind of relationships they want to have with their horses. She brings together her lifelong horsemanship, 18 years of experience in equine-assisted psychotherapy, and deep knowledge of how human and animal nervous systems interact.

Raised on cattle ranches in Texas, Reccia learned early on that horses were more than tools—they were partners. As a child, she often rode and evaluated new horses in a riding program her father ran for at-risk youth. These early experiences shaped her understanding of horses and their role in healing and growth.

Over time, her approach evolved from control-based methods to one centered on connection, attunement, and mutual trust. Today, Reccia helps people train, rehabilitate, and ride their horses in ways that support physical, emotional, and relational well-being.

She is a Natural Lifemanship Institute trainer and a certified Trauma-Informed Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Learning practitioner and equine professional.

rebecca Hubbard
